Carrera Photography began in the mid 1980's. I have been an avid off-roader since the early 1960's when I began riding dirt bikes (modified small street bikes). I grew up at the beach and began surfing at an early age. Made my first trip to Hawaii in the Winter of 1964 and surfed the North Shore of Oahu and the Southern breaks of Oahu. Often, we would go surf in the morning, and then load up our dirt bikes and run out to the high desert and go riding. After getting drafted in the Army, I purchased my first SLR camera while stationed overseas. Shortly after getting back from my tour of duty, I attended my first off-road race......The Mint 400 . I was helping some friends who were racing, and I also took photos. That was the beginning of my journey with motorsports and the great friendships I gathered along the way. I semi-retired in 2008 when I focused my attention on raising my son and being a family. After having lived in California, Hawaii and now Nevada, I am back and ready to continue my adventure.
